Every Sunday, everyone who visits mass in St. Francis’ parish is welcomed by volunteers in Caritas Arendal. Ushers makes sure that everyone feels welcome and is there in case someone needs extra help.
After high mass, volunteers organize a church coffee, which is a pleasant and important meeting place in the congregation.

Tweens is a meetingplace for kids ages 10 to 14. We meet once a month on a friday for fun activites. We also organise an annual weekend in the mountains (Gautefall) in the fall.
To honor seniors in the congregation, Caritas Arendal organizes an annual senior party. In addition, we organize several activities such as museum visits or concerts. The aim is to do something pleasant with old acquaintances and to include those who need more activities and contact with others.
